Which animals does the Livestock Management System cover?
Cattle, swine and poultry. Each animal gets its own record: breeding history, production, health events and cost, all in one place, so you can see how any individual animal is actually performing rather than only the herd average.
Can I see whether an animal is making or losing money?
Yes. The app calculates cost per litre and profit or loss per animal automatically from the feed, health and production data you enter, so the numbers are there without you keeping a separate book or spreadsheet.
Can a cooperative use it across all member farms?
Yes. Access is role-based: members manage their own animals, and an administrator sees the org-level overview across every member farm. Reports for a bank or cooperative are generated and shared by you — nobody sees your records until you send them.
Is it on both iPhone and Android?
Yes. Hekitari Livestock Management is available on the App Store and on Google Play, and it is built for entry-level Android phones and low connectivity. You can also download the app first and send your account request from inside it.
Who can see my herd data?
Your records stay yours. Inside a cooperative or organisation, access is role-based: members see their own animals, and only an administrator sees the org-level overview.
